Prayer Angel — Original Hand-Painted Ornament
Sometimes we just want someone we love to know they are being prayed for.
Each Prayer Angel begins as a simple unfinished wooden frame. From there, I add each little wooden half-circle one at a time by hand, before layers of soft pink paint and a shimmer of gold bring the frame to life. In the center, I hand-paint each angel in soft pinks, whites and touches of gold. A pink velvet ribbon is added at the top for hanging.
Because every step is done by hand, no two Prayer Angels will ever be exactly alike — each one is truly a small original work of art.
I created these little angels especially with those walking through breast cancer and other difficult seasons in mind. They are a simple way to let someone know they are being prayed for and to remind them just how loved they are.
Give one to a friend who needs encouragement, tuck one into a care package, or give one simply to say, “I’m praying for you.”
